Our Story

The Story Behind BOXBUDY LLC

BOXBUDY LLC started where most great things start — with a box of old cards.

A few years ago, while sorting through boxes in storage, we came across a stack of trading cards that had been forgotten for decades. Mid-90s rookies. A few '80s commons. Bent corners, faded backs — and somehow, every single one brought back a memory. The corner shop. The first pack ever opened. The friend who traded a Griffey Jr. for a stick of gum.

That moment hit hard. The hobby never left us — life just got loud for a while.

So we did what every collector dreams of doing: we built a card shop. Not just any card shop — the kind of place we'd want to shop at ourselves. One that combines the speed and convenience of online shopping with the trust, care, and personality of a great local hobby store.

That's BOXBUDY LLC.

What We Believe

Five Things We Never Compromise On

These are the principles behind every box we sell and every collector we serve.

01

The hobby belongs to everyone

Whether you're spending $20 on a single pack or $20,000 on a sealed case, you matter to us. Same prices. Same service. Same respect.

02

Authenticity over everything

We source our products through established distribution channels, and every item we sell is genuine and factory-sealed. No counterfeits. No resealed product. No exceptions.

03

Speed matters

When you order, you don't want to wait. Orders are processed within one business day, so your boxes get to you fast — and you can start ripping sooner.

04

Real people, real service

When you email us, you're not getting a chatbot. You're talking to actual collectors who care about your order, your collection, and your experience. We pick up the phone, and we answer emails.

05

Fair pricing, every day

Our pricing is built to keep collectors coming back — not to squeeze every dollar out of a single sale. The price you see is the price you pay, with free shipping included.

Collectors First

More Than a Store

BOXBUDY LLC isn't a side hustle, and it's not a flip operation. It's a real business built by people who actually live and breathe this hobby.

We rip boxes. We chase autos. We argue about who the next breakout rookie will be. We know the rush of a big pull and the letdown of a "dud" box. We've been on both sides of the counter — buying, selling, trading, and learning. That's why we do this the way we do.
